You're going to get hungry when you're on a road trip, so why not make a pit
stop where you can stretch your muscles and have a meal at the same time? It
sure will make the kids happy too. Dining in bowling alleys is way beyond pizza
these days. On I-95, we have found not only retro lanes, but also the future of
bowling alleys, including a redefinition of family fun combined with delicious

FL Exit 121: Superplay USA - With new state-of-the-art bowling lanes, laser tag,

redemption tickets), this is a must stop for kids of all ages. Way beyond the
usual arcade grub - there's Duffy's Sports Grille, where you can get everything
from a top sirloin steak to a mahi mahi sandwich, Caribbean jerk chicken, shrimp
scampi, coconut crusted Dolphin fingers, a veggie burger or a dozen salads, and

VA Exit 126: Village12/Splitsville - The Splitsville half of this building has
16 new luxury bowling lanes with dining possibilities ranging from sushi to 7
kinds of sliders (the filet one is topped with horseradish cream and fried
onions), edamame, firehouse pizza with honey wheat cr ust, BBQ chicken chopped

theater, offering a chance to have dinner or drinks in the lounge and then watch

GA - Bowling and Lemon Pepper Tilapia

GA Exit 38: Strike Zone - Bowling came back, so this is a fairly new colorful
bowling alley. Wednesday is the bargain day, at only $1.50 a game, and on
Thursday evenings from 6pm on it's all-you-can-bowl for $10. You can also play
pool or enjoy the amusement arcade. If you're hungry, it's attached to a Denny's
where you can scoff down lemon pepper tilapia, country fried steak and eggs,
Brooklyn spaghetti and meatballs, banana pecan French toast, pot roast, avocado

CT - Bowling and Irish Nachos

CT Exit 86: Spare Time - For over 45 years, families have been enjoying
wholesome fun bowling here on 32 lanes. Stop for a nice break for as little as
$1.99 a game on Sunday morn, or the kids might just play in the arcade. Friday
and Saturday starting at 11:30 pm, they offer up Galactic Bowling, when the
whole joint is bathed in black light. Their City Sports Grille (13 screens) menu
has pizza, mac'n cheese bites, Irish Nachos (fries, bacon, tomato, cheese,
jalapenos), burgers or Philly cheese steak, and you can wash it all down with a

DE Exit to Rte 9 New Castle: Bowlerama - Open for over 50 years, this fun spot
has 62 lanes for your bowling pleasure, even glow-in-the dark bowling. Ask about
weekend or weekday specials (like: 2 hours bowling, 4 pairs shoes, pizza and
pepsi for $59.95). Take a break, bowl, play in the Kids Zone and win redemption
tickets. Have lunch in the Kegler's Pub and Sports Bar or Spare Rib (roast beef

FL Exit 339: Latitude 30 - If you just couldn't decide what to do tonight - go
out to a restaurant, grab a pizza, go bowling, watch a movie, take the kids to
an arcade, catch a sporting event or enjoy a comedy show - you don't have to
choose; just head for Latitude 30. You can dine deliciously in the 360 Grille,
for food comes first here, or in any of the above while you enjoy your
entertainment. Noise level is high, so babies can cry and the kids don't have to
be quiet or sit still while you finish eating - this is the future of family
dining.

The sports theater displays 19 screens, the pizza chef is stretching and tossing
dough by the brick oven, the cocktail area is buzzing, the arcade is dinging
(prizes right up to an iPad), bowling balls are crashing in the 20 lanes (comfy
couches) while their 9 screens are showing sporting events, so you don't miss
anything (football AND bowling), or you can escape into one of the 2 movie
theaters.

If that wasn't enough action, there's live music Thursday to Saturday nights.
You can just sit and watch it all while you have a tiramisu martini or 40 brands
of beer, and then chow into: a prime rib kabob with creamy horse radish sauce,
quesadilla, lettuce wrapped Asian chicken in peanut ginger sauce, sesame crusted
teriyaki calamari with citrus wasabi aioli, steak and blue cheese in flat bread,
shrimp po'boy, chicken salad with cherries and pecans or blackened mahi mahi, or
just build your own burger.

Dinner entree salads can be made with flat iron steak or blackened ahi, there's
a chopped cobb salad, lobster mac'n cheese, veal pot roast, Guinness fish and
chips, bacon wrapped scallops and we loved the homemade potato chips. Southern
